mkinitrd -f --with=tveeprom --with=saa7115 --with=tuner --with=7127 --with=ivtv --with=ivtv --with=ivtv-fb /boot/initrd-`uname -r`.img `uname -r`
it appears to work but when I reboot I get the following messages when it tries to load the driver:
ivtv: Error -3 initialising firmware ivtv: Error -12 on initilaisation ivtv-osd: ivtv_fb_card_id is out of range (valid range:0--1) insmod: error inserting '/lib/ivtv-fb.ko': (operation not permitted)
I'm running Fedora Core 3 and I'm using atrpms to do all the installation work. I have the 2.6.9-1.724_FC3 kernel installed and ivtv_0.2.0-59_rc3d.
If I issue the install commands from within a terminal once I get into X then it works fine. I can modprobe ivtv or insmod it to my hearts content but I just can't make it load at boot time.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong or any extra information that would help?
Cheers,
Jonathan
