i'm using chris kennedy's ivtv 3.01m with 2 hauppauge:
PVR250 and PVR 350. the thing is that i can't make it
work with PAL-M and PAL-N. i've tested in Windows and
it works but not under GNU/Linux. i'm using a color
bar generator wich can give all tv standards. NTSC and
SECAM work properly but with PAL things get weird: the
2 hauppauges can make PAL-I PAL-B PAL-G PAL60 but not
PAL-M nor PAL-N. i've tested on a AthlonXP 2600+ over
a MSI KT880 512MB. DDR 400MHz. running Mandrake
GNU/Linux 10.1 and WinXP Pro SP2.
just to make it more clear i've tested not only the
firmware that i've extracted from the install CD's of
both Hauppauges, but also with firmwares from
internet. also try different versions of both
kennedy's and ivtv releases of the driver.
i really don't know what is going on. perhaps some of
you do.
any help would be more than welcome.
Pedro.
