Jerome,

The ivtv log looks ok. I don't know if I'd spend the time on xawtv,
tvtime, etc. I haven't checked into it thoroughly but none of those seem
to work out of the box with the ivtv drivers.

The key is to start simple. I highly recommend following Jarod Wilson's
guide , http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php, even if you aren't
running FC3. The steps he recommends for testing the PVR350 are the
easiest way to go. In summary:

1. Start by capturing a test file. First, run ptun-ui.pl change the
input to "tuner", and use the gui to change to a known local channel.
In a terminal run 'cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg'
2. Try to play the file with mplayer. 'mplayer -vo xv -ao alsa
test.mpg'

If this doesn't work (i.e. fuzz, black screen, etc.) then you can be
suspicious of your installation/configuration of ivtv. But, if it works
then move on to trying to watch live tv.

3. 'mplayer -vo xv -ao alsa /dev/video0'

.......(follow the rest of Jarod's guide).

Good Luck!

Justin
