yes you're correct. i moved module options to /etc/modprobe.d/ivtv,
which looks like the following now:

i've tried several ivtv versions, and currently i'm running the recently
released 0.3.2p. i tried also to use tuner=5 instead of 28, what didn't
change anything.
mythepg shows me all available channels in germany, and i see snow on
all channels, but i didn't manage to see any tv stream yet.
which module or ivtvctl options do i need to make my WinTV PVR-350
(germany, PAL) work on my system.
