Hi Nuno,

This was the road to sucess for me.

1) Remove or rename the kernel tuner and mps3400 modules.
2)
 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ cat /etc/modules.d/ivtv

alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv

alias msp3400 msp3400-ivtv

options msp3400 once=1 simple=1 standard=0x08
# Find your standard in the www.mythtv.info FAQ section.

3)

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ cat /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6
#NET
via_rhine
#TV
msp3400 once=1 simple=1 standard=0x08
tda9887 pal=B
ivtv ivtv_std=2 tda9887=0
ivtv-fb
lirc_dev
lirc_i2c

4) update-modules && depmod -ae

5) Make sure that the permission for the video devices allow you to
change channels.

6) Halt (I read somewhere that the card might keep it's settings in a
warm reboot)

7) Watch & record TV.

/Fredrik
