Thanks for your time. > > Hi! hmm.. sounds silly, but I had this problem, when running under 2.6.11-gentoo-r7, updating the system what installed 2.6.12-gentoo-somewhat-sources, compiling new kernel, NOT rebooting new kernel, rebuilding newer ivtv against new (not running) kernel and trying to load the ivtv-modules build against the newer 2.6.12-kernel under the running older 2.6.11-kernel.
