Do you know how up-to-date the Debian packages at http://www.hellion.org.uk/debian (as suggested to use in the DebianHow To at http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-index.php?page=DebianHowTo) are? I'm not afraid of building from source if I have to, but I prefer to do as much as possible through apt/dpkg, just so the system knows what's on it. I have only a PVR-500mce and, as mentioned above, I'm seeing the exact same problems (including the same log messages when I try to use the second tuner) as Scot. > > Get the following error message in /var/log/messages: > > > > Sep 16 17:21:28 terraslave kernel: ivtv warning: i2c client addr: 0x44 > > not found for command 0x80446468! > > Sep 16 17:21:28 terraslave kernel: ivtv warning: i2c client addr: 0x44 > > not found for command 0x400e6407! > > From memory, that's the cx25840 chip that it's not picking up.
