Reiview of the cache in 2.0?

Hi,

 

I read on the user mailing list that the caching mechanism will be reviewed
in 2.0.  Did I read correctly?  

 

What is your idea for that?

 

 

NB: The concerned jira issues are still not 'planned' for 2.0.
