I would be interested in helping out with this, if that would be of any help to you. Over the next couple of weeks I'm a bit maxed out, but after that I should have a certain amount of time that I'd happily contribute. While I haven't contributed any features to the codebase in the past, I have been digging around in the guts of Xerces-J for a couple of years now! Considering how much value we've got out of it I'd love to be able to give something back...
