IMHO, I do still stick to my earlier opinion, that Xerces-J should not be
releasing its builds on Maven central.

According to me, the truth is that, the current day JDK contains lot many
Java classes derived from erstwhile Xerces builds (& also Xalan as well
:)). It usually confuses users who prefer JDK contained (Xerces-J derived)
XML libraries, when they see same/enhanced Java components released by the
Apache Xerces XML project. I think that, it would be better, if such users
get a choice to configure their local Java environments manually, by
installing Xerces-J from Apache.

I'm willing to revise my opinion, about this topic, if there's any related
opinion from Xerces committer(s)/PMC member(s).
