Role Description:
All roles specified in DBA 1 & 2 plus:
Highly skilled at database design, installations, conversions.
Responsible for database backup and recovery procedures, access security and
database integrity, physical data storage design and data storage
management, design of data dictionaries and logical and physical data
models. Reverse engineering using Designer 2000 and ErWin.
Participates in Database Management System selection and maintains database
performance.
Expertise in specific Oracle 8i,9i, 10g,DB2, SQL server including
clustering, Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard in three tiered architecture.
Support Oracle Parallel Server on SUN Solaris platform.
Untilize Enterprixe Manager and Oracle diagnostic pack.
Enage in ongoing process improvement.
