Refering to the instructions:
>A.8. Automatic Startup and Shutdown Using an RC Script
The script jabberd2.rc refers to a file 'functions' in eiter /etc/init.d
or /etc/rc.d/init.d which is not included in the jabberd distribution. My
distro (SuSE 9.3) doesn't come with that file.
If licensing allows I suggest adding 'functions' to CVS, add it to the
archive, or at least provide a link to a working download location.
Also, on SuSE 9.3 there is cyrus-sasl installed by default. jabberd
defaults to Gnu-sasl. I had to read the configure.ac to find out about
--disable-gsasl --enable-cyrus
My suggestion is, to include this information in the docs chapter:
>3 Install Jabberd 2
and add them to the FAQ respectively.
