Hello all,
I find out that I can setup SRV records for my jabber domain. I want
to have my JID in [EMAIL PROTECTED] format. And now that records:
_jabber._tcp.domain.tld. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5269 jabber.domain-
with-jabberd2-running.tld.
_xmpp-server._tcp.domain.tld. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5269
jabber.domain-with-jabberd2-running.tld.
_xmpp-client._tcp.domain.tld. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5222
jabber.domain-with-jabberd2-running.tld.
jabber.domain-with-jabberd2-running.tld is 111.111.111.111
domain.tld is 222.222.222.222
This is because I want to run jabberd2 on difrent server that is "@
IN A domain.tld" and want to have JID in same format as e-mail address
Is this correct?
And my second question is that, can I setup SRV record for 5223 (ssl-
ed) port?
_xmpp-client._tcp.domain.tld. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5223
jabber.domain.tld. ?
