Hi all,
I'm running into what appears to be the problem that SSL errors cause
sockets remain open after CLOSE_WAIT. From the bug tracker, it appears
this issue has come up before and is logged here: http://jabberd2.xiaoka.com/ticket/59
I've double checked the code (release 2.1.14), and the patch for that
bug (http://jabberd2.xiaoka.com/changeset/163) is definitely integrated.
but it is still happening with my deployment.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Here is the specific SSL error I'm seeing:
SSL handshake error (error:04067069:rsa
routines:RSA_EAY_PUBLIC_DECRYPT:pkcs1 padding too short)
and very rarely:
SSL handshake error (error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong
version number)
