So I guess the username+realm+password information from authreg table is
not used and Kerberos provides the information that the connecting user
is authorized to bind the requested JID?

Please excuse me all thee questions, but I like to get at least a basic
clue on how the submitted code works, before applying the provided
patch.
Especially one that fiddles with security issues. :-)
