I should have sent this e-mail long ago. I've been more or less away from
JabRef development for a long time. Partly it's due to being busy with
other activities, but partly it's because of a lack of motivation. I've
realized that there's not much chance that I'll be returning to full
activity. To keep the project going we're going to need someone to take
over. I will most likely be interested in contributing to some degree, but
I don't want to be responsible for planning and making releases in the
future.
I don't know if any of you on this list would be interested in taking over.
If not, we could perhaps hope to recruit someone through the users list.
But I'm starting here since the best solution would be if one of the long
term contributors wants to take on the job.
