Hi Sven,

I gave a brief introduction to JabRef to the research students in my group
a few years ago; I only have a outline and no slides, because it was
mostly a live demonstration:

I like the 'New subdatabase based on AUX file' option. I always use a
single master file for all my references, and can then extract the ones
I've cited in a specific article using that option.

What I also find useful (although the implementation is slightly clunky)
is the ability to create a 'new entry from plain text'. I can then
copy-paste the information from the website in one go, and then extract
the bibliography data.

One think I would like to learn a bit more about myself is the various
websearches. I never use them, as I don't really see how it might help me
over using websites such as Scopus.

Good luck with the workshop!

/Mark
