Dear Jabref-users list,
I'm using JabRef in combination with Evernote on MS Windows
to take notes on research papers.
(JabRef for structured fields, and Evernote for complementary notes
containing figures, mutual links, etc.)
To link the corresponding records between the two applications,
I added a general field named "evernote" on JabRef and
inserted something like
\begin{evernote}<a color="green" href="\evernote">\evernote</a>\end{evernote}
in the entry preview.
When I fill the field with the "note link" of the corresponding note
on Evernote,
the preview certainly shows the URL form of the note link.
(The below page
http://dev.evernote.com/doc/articles/note_links.php?noredirect
explains how an evernote note link URL looks like.)
What I'd like to have is jumping to the corresponding note on Evernote by
clicking the added link, just like how a HTTP URL link added to preview by
\begin{url}<a href="\url">\url</a>\end{url}
enables jump to the page on a web browser, or like a pasted evernote note link
on MS word document enables jump to the note on Evernote.
I'm guessing that handling this unfamiliar form of URL "evernote://...." may
involve "asynchronous pluggable protocol"
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa767916(v=vs.85).aspx
but am not sure and cannot figure out how to proceed.
Any help is appreciated!
Best,
Taka
