Regarding the issue below, I figured out a different way
to serve my purpose.

What i did:
1. added an external file type "evernote" with MIME type "application/evernote",
assigning the Evernote executable.
2. added a file link, cancelled file chooser, put the note link in the
link field and
chose evernote for file type.
(If you chose URL for file type, step 1 would be unnecessary.)
Then by opening the link, I can jump to the corresponding note on Evernote.

Its not optimal but works fine.
