what about endorsed libraries? What about another servlet container as
for instance Tomcat/Catalina?
The endorsed Xalan library used by Cocoon (and the Xalan trunk version
also) does not properly implement the addition of namespace attributes
to DOM elements. They are ignored when building the DOM.
