You need a kernel with Jailhouse-enabling on x86 in order to boot. Use the same version as above. There is also a 4.14-stable tree now, see https://github.com/siemens/linux/commits/jailhouse-enabling/4.14 The demo image (https://github.com/siemens/jailhouse-images) I started contains a defconfig that works also as non-root guest. If you have some initrd for your kernel, you can build on top. I still need to look into generating a proper one for that demo.
