I would like to start managing a release of the collections component,
because we need to make changes to the Configuration class in Velocity,
and don't want to try to maintain in two places. There will be two
Jakarta projects that will use it right off the bat, Velocity and
Turbine.
I don't want to make a big deal of this - I will go through and make
sure that javadoc and tests are in reasonable shape, and there is some
good packaging if not already there. It doesn't have to be a 1.0 - we
can call it a milestone or something if that makes people comfortable.
Re the new additions we are currently talking about, we can simply tag
for this milestone before they go in there and put them in after the
milestone.
