Yes - I've just been reading about it. I can't find an implementation
anywhere - I guess we need to wait for the public 1.4 beta
I'd include the Preferences API in with the set of possible MetaFactory
implementation options.
* JAR manifest
* JNDI
* Preferences
* Properties/ExtendedProperties
* XML
Probably thats the priority order for me too - JAR manifest and JNDI in
particular are my main use cases I want to tackle.
