Young Global Citizens Camp
The British Council Indonesia is opening application for 10 young participants, aged 18 to 25, from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and the UK to participate in an inter-cultural camp on mutual understanding and cultural identity in Davao City, the Philippines, 16-25 January 2006. The 10 days of youthful activities, interaction, and culture sharing is geared to empower young leaders to operate more effectively as catalysts for positive change through better mutual understanding of one anothers cultures and identities. Activities will include visual and performing arts, music, writing and oral traditions, role-play, debates, brainstorming, team building exercises, trekking, sports, community immersion, and institutional visits. The British Council will provide transportation and accommodation for successful candidates.
Date: 16-25 January 2006
Venue: Eden Nature Park & Resort, Davao City, Philippines
