I wouldn't say "because of the license we use". The BSD license is IMHO 
perfect for what we're doing: compatible with most other OS licenses, can be 
used in commercial products, won't contaminate your code.

I'm still on this topic in jallist. I think I still don't understand the whole 
thing about restrictions being a killer.

Sure, we need to discuss this. There was a recent topic about this, and I seem 
to be the only one reluctant to modify the license for hex files and 
programmed PIC. I obviously won't be against such modifications, but I must 
know where I put my time on this project.
