Seb, I agree with you that \r is rare to be found in the wild nowdays. And no, I don't have (or ever had) a mac. I did however once owned a teletype and thus know why the sequence is CR-LF and not the other way around... But to get back to topic: I have no idea where this mac-format file came from. My editor does handle it properly and can convert it to windows (or unix) format. Just hope we don't encounter it again...
