Hi all, hi Joep,
I've modified my jallib.py script so it can automatically generated plenty of
samples, just by letting it know the "sample" dir:
jallib sample -a unvalidated/sample
(script not yet committed, see my question below)
It will find all board files and test files, try to compile the combination.
If success: it keeps the file, else it deletes it. The output is
automatically saved on the correct location under "by_device", by extracting
the pic name from the board_<picname>_<whatever>.jal naming convention.
Question: how to name the generated samples ? From the test file
test_<name>.jal, I can extract the test <name>. So "test_serial_hardware.jal"
gives "serial_hardware" as the test name. From this, how to name the
sample ? "serial_hardware.jal" ? We could also use a prefix, like "sample_",
but already used by some Eur's samples. Maybe Eur's could rename his sample
starting with "sample_" to let this naming convention reserved for
auto-generated samples.
