In the first place you have to find out which procedures are missing
(and next week there may be more), secondly the existing procedures may
be different (other parameters e.g. byte<->word, or other
functionality), thirdly there is the issue of initialisation difference
(during include or explicitly by the user program). Also: our device
files use a different (reghister) naming convention.
Altogether I think ez- migration is a lot of work which can better be
devoted to better documentation (a Beginners Guide for Jallib Users).
And much of the contents is already available.

I'm not happy with a fixed baudrate in UART libs. An application program
should be able to change baudrates. But it is somewhat more difficult to
write a good library.

Do you mean to set the prescaler to match the pragma clockspeed?

I'm afraid this will not be easy. There are so many variations!
A possibility would be to make a table with a block for each PIC
(something like I did with 'devicespecific' script), but that means a
lot of manual work and datasheet reading. I prefer to stimulate the user
to do the datasheet reading!!
