But that doesn't mean there are functional (thus the previous point) I understand this a good practice to avoid duplication and only keep source files (source as the source of generation), but there's also a compromise about how difficult it is to generate them. If this case, difficult means: testing and validating them require sufficient time so we want to freeze this state and keep generated samples (and most importantly trash those untested).
