I probably would :) As they say in PICList's thread, this is about having a nice IDE. Currently, we have JalEdit with jallib/jalv2 inside. Already a nice environment. Too bad it's only for Windows (is there any chance to get it cross-platform ?). If you add: - a well designed board (with USB instead of RS232) - a nice PIC (don't know which, but a nice beast) - tinybootloader, or another one. This one is nice, we already have everything to deal with (like python scripts) and is small (far smaller than the one being in Arduino, IIRC more than 1KB !!!) and you have a nice platform and have fun with it, even for beginners. You don't even have to program in C, jalv2 does the trick, and easier IMHO. If they go with this PICduino, we definitly have to provide our Jaluino environment based on it. If they use a PIC we support... That would be fun.
