Hi Seb and others,
Just a thought.... Since the lifetime of Jallib we have seen several compiler releases. I always use the latest compiler (beta) release. Testing with older compilers is a lot of work, and I doubt if it is of any practical use. If there is an issue with an older version of device file or library or compiler we will probably always suggest to test with the newest versions of compiler and libraries. So I have a suggestion to change the meaning of the compiler indication in device files and libraries. Currently the Jallib Style Guide says "which compiler version is needed". I suggest to change this into "with which compiler version this file has been tested".
