The device files of revision 1387 contain pseudo-variables ('put procedure
and an
'get function) for the shared memory registers and their subfields. Due to
lack of
proper PICs (see below) these routines have not actually been tested yet,
only
desk-checked by examining the assembler listing produced by the compiler
(2.4l and
2.4m beta).
