I'm expecting my 18F4550 parts any day :) Meanwhile I'm simulating entire application in VB6 and gradually porting to the PIC 16F877A to be shortly replaced by 18F4550.
I was looking at the I2C and first looked at include I2c_hardware include i2c_level1 then I heard there was a eprom_24LC512 library. Except I don't have it in my Jalpack, nor the 18F45x sample that uses it. I'm off to look for it in the repositories etc... BTW I agree we need at LEAST three books. Ideally in HTML, PDF, mobipocket and MS Word format. -> HTML good for built in reference to application -> PDF good for printing (or large screen) -> mobipocket best for smaller screens (netbooks and portable readers) -> .doc '97 or 2002 format good for whatever not thought of and works fine in Open Office. Also I looked at the RTC using timer interrupt rtc_isr_tmr0.jal and also timer0_isr_interval.jal really what I want is to have most of the main program in a 1ms to 20ms (exact speed to be decided) ISR, but I'll have to think about it.
