Yes, my reaction is because of a failing bee-package build.
I agree we should not put beta-software in our official releases, but I don;t see problems with putting a beta-compiler in the 'bee'-package. By all means this is (maybe not obvious enough) a package with disclaimers.

    but  we agreed not to release beta-code. So should all 2.4n
