Hey guys, a few weeks ago when we where talking about this, I made an
attempt at ICMP PING. However, I did not get it to work. I will upload
my code when I have time.

I do have a working checksum file, I am also able to successfully
connect to windows XP with SLIP (windows knows that there is a slip
device connected)

I was using http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/AppNotes/00724c.pdf
as you suggested Seb. I was mostly interested in the PING example on
page 12 (Figure 9)

So, I tried PING and I was also using a network monitor tool, but I
could not see any PING from my device although it seems that my packet
was correct.

Maybe we can get this PING to work as a first step :)

We could also try SLIP via Linux to see if it is easier to
troubleshoot.

Matt.
