Windows shell is crappy enough not to expand wildcards. It works under
Linux, as bash, for instance (though expanding can sometime cause max line
length troubles).

or:

for i in `ls *.jal`
do
    jallib validate $i
done

or: it may be possible to use "glob" python library. Please fill in an
issue, for the record.
