Hi Rob,
Usually, I save everything which i consider useful for me and maybe
others. In "my" package, I'm starting to have also other libraries and
examples not included in official package (but everything is public,
published here or on my site). I had the need for some libraries, not
included yet in Jallib, as is "One Wire" library and I found it on
Bert's package, it is easy to adapt for Jallib and copyright is
permissive.
Personally I don't consider myself an enough Jal "educated" person to
make general libraries (for this I think you need a higher level of
training and experience) but I make public anything useful for me,
maybe it is also for others, or others can correct me and help me to
achieve that higher level.
One thing which intrigues me is the Jallib Believe and Conduit:
"
..................................
Lots of libraries exist, built by authors all over the world. The aim
of this project is to:
* centralize these libraries
* propose standards to write and share jal code
This avoids re-inventing the wheel and helps sharing code.
..................................
"
This is not quite functional if you know what I mean...At least, the
first "item" from the list.
