Hi Joep, Unfortunately, testing a library or another depends on an immediate need of a user. Many don't have the required hardware or time, or health but that don't mean is not useful for someone.
Because my interest in data logging and renewable energy I needed some libraries for a temp. sensor, a real time clock, LCD, and so on. Until I was able to acquire the required hardware (EVB4.3 v.4) I wasn't able to decide which component I want/must use. Those components are: - PCF8583 (I don't have time and health but I want to make it working) - TSOP4843 (I used it in Arduino language) - DS18B20 - used it in JAL thanks to V.Surducan and Bert (and And- Tech.pl) - LCD 2x16 - already used in JAL thanks to Jallib team and V.Surducan - LED 4x7 segment - already used thanks to Jallib team (I enjoyed this one) - AT24C02 EEPROM - not needed yet, but I have it. - MMC/SD card - this one must be solved because I am one of the "logger" guys and we depend on a really working append function. - and so on... As a JAL and Jallib user, I collect the entire package, even if I don't need immediately all "things" included there, in the HOPE that it will be useful to me (or others) some day. But I try to voice not only my requests, but also my successful attempts and gratitude. Yes, I also can observe that considering this, it is a little quiet around here... And more to the subject. You said you reverted your modifications... why you didn't immortalized them? How? Posting them on a HTML page with your way of work, explaining how and why are useful for you. This is a very precious "thing". Don't expect an immediate feedback or acceptance. Do anything for future because is about knowledge and a personal way (which can fit also to others which maybe are not yet born) of doing things - you are a teacher if I understood well so, you understand what I want to say.
