This was about the math.jal library, and the link has already been posted:
http://jallib.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/include/jal/math.jal

And yes, this is exactly the precise but slow sine function I did NOT use ;-)

And here's part of the sound generation I used:

const sbyte sinelookup[]={
   0,   3,   6,   9,  12,  16,  19,  22,  25,  28,  31,  34,  37,  40,  43,  46,
  49,  51,  54,  57,  60,  63,  65,  68,  71,  73,  76,  78,  81,  83,  85,  88,

-127,-127,-127,-127,-126,-126,-126,-125,-125,-124,-123,-122,-122,-121,-120,-118,

 -49, -46, -43, -40, -37, -34, -31, -28, -25, -22, -19, -16, -12,  -9,  -6,  -3
}

var byte phase

forever loop

  phase=phase+step

  amplitude=word((sword(sinelookup[phase])*volume)/16 +2048)

end loop

I had only 16MHz. The volume multiplication, which was unavoidable, used that
much of computing time that the sine function had to be really fast to avoid
audible distortion.

The resulting amplitude was then fed to a 12bit DAC.

Greets,
Kiste
