Thanks, I was waiting to see what buildbot would say :) I asked Joep this question once and didn't have much to say, and since you are now author of print.jal, what do you think of adding a print_char procedure? Currently you can print a number or sentence, but not a character.
Debug has a _char procedure, but debug was supposed to have the same procedures as print.jal As you may know, debug makes it easy to enable/disable printing, and also easy to change the output device. A _char procedure is required, otherwise you have to call the output device directly (such as serial_hw_data) which will obviously make it more difficult to change the output device. You would have to go through all code to change the output device. As Joep mentioned, it would take a few additional bytes to use a _char procedure instead of using serial_hw_data directly, so the user would have to choose. A note about this can go with the procedure.. Matt.
