Hi Rob, thanks for reviewing the structure. - Why add another layer in the compiler directory?
Not really much reason so will change it back. There was no compiler in the smaller package, but I do see now that the jallib-pack and bee packages have the compiler directly in the compiler dir. My mistake here. Personally, I do keep the old compilers locally for troubleshooting purposes (some samples were originally tested with old versions), but I didn't mean to change the way the packages are setup. I agree this may not be the view of others. Maybe the structure can be like \compiler\jalv24q3\jalv2.exe in the future if others agree. Somehow, I would like to have old jalv2 versions not be overwritten on install. Maybe I can find a way to have the windows installer move old versions into another folder. - Why would you include the chipdef directory of Kyle? It's incompatible with Jallib and may lead to confusion. I agree, this should be removed. I had simply unzipped the package from his site (and did not delete anything). I don't have a script to do this now since I'm a bit afraid to modify Seb's scripts to get the desired results for the new "full" package. Matt.
