I have access trough a friend to a junkbox from a electronic enterprise...
They have about 20 LCD that in the crystal part shows a matrix of
pixels... (not the classic 2 rows X columns)... they don't remember in
which equipment they belong, they are ready do dump it on the trash bin...
There are two kinds
Type 1: IData IMAGE, model PY163211 (Revisions A and D)
Type 2: XIAMEN OCULAR, model GDM16032D (VER 1.0)
They said to me that the two types are interchangeable on the hardware,
so they has to talk the same protocol.
The LCDs has the classic 16 pins in single line connector, and a extra
two ping connector (the backlight is on the 16 pin classic connector)
They are kind to gift me all the LCDs... but now the question:
There are support in jal to this kind of LCD?
if not, any of you have a paper or document that describe the protocol
in order to implement it in jal.
I don't have internet now, only email.
Cheers...
