Hi Kyle,

Pity but I understand that there is more to life than programming. Thanks
for building a great compiler.

The question to all in this group is how to continue. As you know there are
new PICs that are not supported by the compiler because they have more than
32 banks. If we do not fix this then these PICs will be excluded. Next to
that there are some other smaller bugs but these are not blocking (I think).

I have downloaded the compiler sources from your website and was able to
re-build the compiler for Windows but that was it. I had a look at the
sources and this is not something you easily take over
especially if you have never build a compiler. It took me quite some time
to take over the device file generation scripts from Rob Hamerling and I
still not fully understand them but my strategy is that I will learn if I
need to fix things.

So my question to the group is if there is anybody who is interested and
willing to take over the JAL compiler as to be able to continue the JAL
journey?

Thanks again Kyle.

Kind regards,

Rob Jansen
