Sounds like a challenge :-) I have never written a compiler yet, so maybe I'll give it a bash if I can scrape the required time together.
There are a few C++ compilers for them. Don't think any are open source though that I can poke around. Also, while I know a number of languages with C#, C++ and JAL just being a few of them, I don't know anything about assembly.
