Hi James - sorry to hear you are having problems! Can you browse the JABAWS web site on your computer's browser ?
http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/jabaws/ The next test is whether the JABAWS services are functional. If you click on the services status link you should be able to see if everything is working. If all the above work, and you still cant get Jalview to connect, then: 1. open the Jalview console window and hit clear. 2. Hit the 'refresh services' button on the webservices config panel - send the contents of the console window to me directly. Hear from you soon !
