Hello Jalview-folks, I am new to this mailing list so I hope my question is not inappropriate.
I recently updated to OS X 10.10 and wanted to run the latest Jalview on it, which as you can imagine does not work. Installation reported several (serious) errors but I could not locate a log file to identify what went wrong exactly. Where do I find a log file on the installation process to have a better idea what could have gone wrong? I have tried both Java from Apple as well as from Sun. Which is the recommended Java version / distribution ? With best regards Eike
