I also thought that this way the db repository system would be
extensible too to cover new uncharted kinds of repositories, the
likes of which we can't imagine ;-) just by writing a generic jdbc
class and populating the SQL.XML for each supported rdbms.
I also thought it might be usefull to provide support for other
storage than RDBMS, though I'm not sure what I have in mind here
exactly, except it would implement a JDBC driver, and be driven by
commands which could be stored in the XML.. perhaps a wrapper onto
the filesystem, though I've no idea why. just a general urge for
flexibility I suppose..
