ha ha, I do that too.

I find reading headers intersting in most circumstances. It is of some
practical value because open relays make spam easy. If that ever gets
diffiicult, a real bad guy could craft IP headers.

Want to point out that blocking IP address is only one possible solution and
in some situations it may aid in a denial of service for some innocent
companies outgoing mail.
