Folks, Phoenix 4.0 -----------
I have committed Avalon-Phoenix 4.0 to CVS. I have not touched Avalon-Conerstone I have moved activation.jar, mail_1_2.jar and commons-net.jar to <root>/lib as that is the correct place for them. I have updated the build script for that. - Have your folks considered the license conditions from Sun for the two Sun jars? They differentiate between the rules concerning CVS listing versus, the availability of the same jar in a 'finished product'. i.e. it may be OK for you to include them in james.sar (if available as a download) or in james-bin.zip. JMX --- MX4J is launched on start of Phoenix. It listens on localhost:8082, and is bound to localhost. You can turn it off in kernel.conf. There is bugger-all managable in James, though it is really easy to setup. Wrapper ------- The wrapper project's Windows executables are included. This allows you to install James to the Windows Services (see control panel). To do this do: wrapper -i ..\conf\wrapper.conf You can then start stop James from the control panel, or command line : net start James net stop James It will relaunch if it abends (I have tested this for other sars and it is cool). I have not done any work for Unix, as I cannot test this. Volunteers?
