> - need to link to the new release on the binindex.xml and srcindex.xml
I would do it if I had a daedalus account (yes, I sent the e-mail to root again). For now, I think that we simply change the static references in those two files to point to http://www.apache.org/dist/jakarta/james/. AIUI, we need to wait a few days before we insert ourselves into the mirroring section to give the mirrors time to propogate. > - need to put an href on index.xml as an announcement This should do the trick: December 30, 2002 - James 2.1 Released > - need to write a little news blurb on the news page about the 2.1 release. Text (from James home page): December 30, 2002 - James 2.1 Released
This release has many enhancements and bug fixes over the previous release. See the Change Log for a detailed list of changes. Some of the earlier defects could turn a James mail server into an Open Relay. All users of James 2.0a3 and earlier are urged to upgrade to James v2.1 as soon as possible.
Obviously, if there are appropriate XML tags use them instead. I haven't looked at the XML source pages, yet. --- Noel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
